Project 52: Graham Crackers, Conversations & Massage

For this date night, Nathan wanted to focus on me and what I liked. He called it, “All about you date”. Isn’t he sweet?! Lesson #1: Marry up.

Nathan gave me a choice of ice cream of graham crackers for dessert. I went with graham crackers because we had crepes for dinner and that was sweet too. Between graham crackers and ice cream, graham crackers had less sugar. I can only handle so much sugar in one day. And we ate graham crackers the way my dad taught me when I was a little girl. Dunking them into a glass of milk. Lesson #2: Sugar is not a good way to get energized.

Eating graham crackers gave us the opportunity to chat. We were both so busy last week we didn’t see much of each other. I missed him dearly by Friday. We kept talking for another couple hours, long after the last of the graham cracker crumbs. Then he offered to give me a massage to work out the knots in my shoulders. Aaahh, that was much needed. Lesson #3: A scheduled date night was what we needed to catch up with each other. Thanks date night!

Nathan said: This date turned out pretty good. I’m amazed by how a simple date of eating graham crackers and talking can be so pleasant. It was nice to catch up with Tiffany and what her and the girls have been up to this week. It is always an adventure. I’m also glad that Tiffany gets to plan the dates for March.
