Pinterest Party: Summer Lovin’

So, have we all joined Pinterest and played around with it? What do you think of it? It’s nice, isn’t it? It did take some time for me to transfer all my bookmarks over to Pinterest. But one of the great things about Pinterest is that it is so easy to just click and pin.

OK, now that we are all pinning, let’s have some fun together with Pinterest. Unlike Twitter parties, this is on your own time online party. You know, we’re moms and things happen. So sometimes we miss parties. But with Pinterest, you can join the party at 2 a.m. or during nap times or when the kids are playing soccer outside.

By the way, if you still haven’t joined Pinterest, let me know and I can invite you. Ben at Pinterest has offered to give me more invites. Sign up so you can participate in the party! You can find out what Pinterest is all about here.

Summer Lovin’ Party

For most of us, summer is in full blast. Kids are out of school. So I want to know what you are doing or what you are loving this summer. Show me. Create a pin board called Summer Lovin’ and pin things you are loving on this summer. Summer fashion. Summer activities. Summer products. Summer vacations. Anything. This is my Summer Lovin’ board.

Then I want you to link to your specific Summer Lovin’ board below. In the linkup below, write your name, your email address (that’s not published) and link to your Summer Lovin’ Pinterest board (the URL should look like http://pinterest.com/tiffanybird/summer-lovin/). Then go around and check out other people’s Pinterest Summer Lovin’ board because there are things you may want to repin onto your board. Please make note to not link to your blog. Any links not linked to their Summer Lovin’ Pinterest board will be deleted.

You have a week to link. We’ll see how this party goes. If it’s successful and we all have a good time, maybe I’ll do more in the future. To make this fun, we want lots of people to link and share their Pinterest board. So share the word and if your friends need Pinterest invites, let me know.

Now let’s party!

I’d like to try out Pinterest if you have any invites left. I’m using Springpad right now and it’s working ok- great for saving notes & things. I think combining that with Pinterest will be the perfect combo for me- I love the visual aspect of Pinterest & think it’ll work much better for my craft & party idea bookmarks.

Hi, I’m seriously behind on this post, but if you happen to have any invites laying around, I would love one (a student can never have too many resons to procrastinate right?)
