Friday 5 at 5: What We’ve Been Doing

I thought this was going to be a nice relaxing summer. Now that summer is more than half over, I’m not sure where summer went. Maybe a calmer fall? Here is a bit of what I’ve captured from our summer thus far.

1. Checked out the view from mountain tops.

2. Attended princess dance camp and learned a few dance moves.

3. Took the kids to the candy store.

4. Played dress up at grandma’s house.

5. Spent time with some of our favorite people. We love having family visit us.

    1. Princess dance camp looks so sweet. Like ballet without the strictness.

Mostly friends moving (sad face), our inflatable pool, and a trip to Utah. Still have both the kid’s birthdays and then a cruise! :)

You guys look like your having so much fun. This summer we are just being lazy and exploring new things. Sae is a bit to little for some cool things like princess camp but great for others like trips to the aquarium.

Is that first photo Stone Mountain? It has to be!

We have been using our Disney World passes. Hope to get out to the beach next week!

you’re right! stone mtn. do you live in the south too?

      • Yes, we live in the south…the Orlando area. I have been to Stone Mountain a couple of times. Our youth group used to go on yearly trips to the LDS temple in Atlanta, so that area feels like a familiar place to me. :0)

My favorite used to be to take the kids on a trip to the pet store to look at all the fish and different little animals. Emily was babysitting last week and she brought them to the pet store. They loved it. One summer we mapped out different parks in our area and went to them for picnic lunches–it was fun to play on the different equipment and check out the different trees, etc. We picked out a few favorites and returned to them for years after. Our favorite had a big tree with squirrels we feed peanuts to, a wildlife rescue above it up rock steps (a workout with the stroller…) and beside it was a miniture horse stable, all kinds of excitement.
