I had wanted to teach Nathan about photography for our date night. But I forgot about it until the last minute and the book I wanted to show him to help him learn was in our daughter’s room… Where she was asleep. So rather than trying to play stealth and attempt to get the book out of the room of a light sleeper, we changed plans. Lesson #1: Good thing I had a backup idea.
Plan B: We watched college football and made cookies. The cookies weren’t for us. Thank goodness. I don’t need the extra calories this holiday season. It was also good for Nathan and I to just catch up from our week. There has been some changes going on in our lives. Last week Nathan decided to take an offer from a new job. So we’re excited as he will start something new. And it’ll be interesting as he made the switch from his current job to the new one this holiday season. Lesson #2: As we have been thinking about all the things to be grateful for this Thanksgiving, we have been blessed with a new job.
Nathan said: I like simple date nights involving food, football, and Tiffany. A wonderful way to end a long week.
» Tell me… Do you or your husband enjoy college football? We love watching college ball in our household. Who do you cheer for?
