Beach Robe Pattern by MADE

My amazing sewing friend, Dana from MADE, asked me to test out one of her new pattern of a beach robe she designed. Of course I will! The robe is super adorable and totally perfect for a beach trip we were on last week. I got them done just as we were heading out the door for the beach.

The robes were nice for the beach, and I’m sure it works well for the pool too, because you don’t have to take towels. The girls were able to wear their robes there and back. I also made them long sleeve to keep them warm when they get out of the water.

Remember the bias tapes I made? I use the pink and yellow ones for these robes. And the robes were made from bath towels. Simple as that.

Dana’s pattern came with a full photo tutorial that shows you how to put it all together. It was easy to follow and so fun to put together. The pattern allows you to make the robe in various styles – short sleeve, long sleeve, partial ties, full ties, with hood or without hood.

Dana is selling the beach robe pattern on her site and you can purchase them here. It’s a digital pattern that will be emailed to you. And you can print the robe pattern on your home printer. She made the robe in three sizes.

Β» Tell me… Do you have coveralls for your children at the pool or beach this summer? Or what do you use to keep they dry after swimming?

I bought Dana’s pattern too and am waiting to get to the store so I can pick out some good towels to get started. We’re going to the beach for a week next month. I’ve enjoyed your beach articles lately.
