I am so excited about Ellen Luckett Baker’s new book, “1, 2, 3 Sew: Build Your Skills with 33 Simple Sewing Projects“. You know Ellen Luckett Baker from The Long Thread blog. She is fabulous and her site is full of amazing sewing projects and tutorials. I am lucky enough to live in the same state as her although we haven’t met in real life yet.

This weekend, I will be meeting Ellen at her book signing over at Whipstitch in Atlanta. If you are in the area, come by this Saturday evening from 6-8 p.m. And if you are interested, Ellen will be teaching a class to only 10 lucky students. The class will be making one of her adorable clutches in her book. All the supplies and pattern will be provided. The class is from 4-6 p.m. Contact Whipstitch to sign up for the class.

I ordered “1, 2, 3 Sew” from Amazon this past weekend and expecting to receive it this Wednesday. I can’t wait to flip though those pages and get sewing on some of her projects!

Hopefully I’ll see you on Saturday at the book signing!
