Friday’s 5 at 5: Origami Every Mom Should Know

As a mom, there are a few skills that comes in handy for those emergency moments or crazy moments when the children need entertaining. Origami comes in handy for that.

I have made paper cranes or boats at those last few moments in church when my children just couldn’t sit still any longer. Here are five origami instructions that you will want to keep in your bags of tricks…

  1. Fortune teller.
  2. Crane.
  3. Boat.
  4. Ball or water balloon.
  5. Cup.

    Love these! Thanks for posting!

    A mom definitely needs to know how to multitask and to look past the little things. I have learned with my twins that I have to always be aware of what they are doing, so someone doesn’t bite the other one, or get hurt.

    This is a great idea for entertaining the kids! I’ve found that it helps to be skilled in voices. As in, characters’ voices. My husband has this skill, which I lack, and his readings are much more engrossing and funny than mine. 🙂
