Month two of our pen pal exchange. This month we were to send a package to our friends in Kentucky who have two girls around the same age as our girls. So I thought we would send them something fun to do – an origami candy party.
Back around December I purchased an origami book and it was a great excuse for me to fold some origami. And this was my first time attempting to teach the girls how to fold origami. We started with some thing simple, a cup. So I made a set of cups, a serving plate, flowers for center pieces and little lunch bags to contain the candy.
If you want to learn more about this pen pal exchange, go here. And I’ll do a couple more origami posts this week. Including one that shows you how to make the cups.
