Project 52: The End

This is the end of Project 52: Glimpse Into Motherhood. Thanks for posting your glimpse into motherhood photos. I enjoyed getting to know you better and seeing the things you do with your family.

Nathan had some time off after Christmas. So we decided to go somewhere for a little vacation. Get out of the house. Enjoy somewhere new. None of us had been to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, before. So we thought we would take a day drive there to see what’s so cool about that place. But you know, sometimes the best thing about vacation is the simple things like swimming in the pool at the hotel. It was cold and windy outside, but the hotel we stayed in had an indoor swimming pool. Nate took the girls swimming while I napped with Eve in the room. That’s a good vacation.

First of all, thank you so much for inspiring me to participate in Project 52. I greatly enjoyed writing each post, and I hope to turn all of my posts into a book for myself one of these days. I will treasure them as my daughters grow! And to answer your question, I thought we’d be going from playdate to playdate this week, but I decided to take the week that had nothing on the calendar and potty train my 2 year old. Nowhere to go, nothing to do but play with the toys Santa left!
