There are lots of things happening here and a few images to go with it…
First, the big news. I am working on a complete site redesign. You will not believe the new look. It’s going to be fabulous. It’s still in the works so I don’t have anything to show you at the moment. I have my friend Melissa from I Still Love You working on the redesign for me. If you have ever been on her site, you will know why I hired her to redesign my site. She is an amazing artist and designer. Then Nathan is working on the technical stuff. That’s one of the perks of being married to a web developer. We have discovered that many of you are reading SMM on your smartphones or iPads. So we are making the site more reader friendly on the mobile devices. Be prepared for a better SMM coming soon. I’m so excited!

Last week Kaye was out of school for Winter Break. What’s that? Well, when you live in the South we are winter wimps and need a week off from school to adjust to winter. And last week was the perfect week for break. We had 60-70 degrees weather with bright sunshine peeking out on us. We played at the park, had play dates with friends, went bowling and watched Mary Poppins over and over again. It’s the girls’ favorite movie right now.

The baby also turned 6 months old last week. Really?! We are halfway to her first birthday?! Oh no. I’m not ready for that. And the fact that March is right around the corner. Yikes. Are you ready for March?

We are also dealing with some family situations right now. We are all finally over the last round of colds and viruses. Thank you for all your prayers and thoughts for Baby Eve and her bronchiolitis, the second time this winter season. She is off the breathing treatments now. Hurray for that. My mom will be coming home from Taiwan this week after being gone for a month. Yay! She has been there for her father’s funeral and helping her mom adjust to her new life.
But lastly, we are now dealing with Nathan’s father and some health issues. Last week the doctors discovered a large tumor in his liver and think it is cancerous. We will find out more later this week as he does a biopsy. Let’s hope for the best.
» Tell me… What have you been up to lately?
Hi Tiff, I’m glad to hear you are all better now, but so sorry to hear about your father-in-law. I’ll be praying for him. Can’t we are all sick here now… ugh. I was in the ER Friday night, a first for me, and very scary!
Can’t wait to see your new site design! How exciting! Have a good week, friend!
Hoping for the best for your FIL and glad your family’s getting better! Can’t wait to see the redesign; I like Melissa’s work.
Hello, sounds like you all had a good winter break but so sorry to hear about your father-in-law. Sincerely hoping for the best for him.
On a happier note, looking forward to the site redesign!
