Felt Buckets Tutorial

The girls’ pink room had the large framed chalkboard. I went to Ikea and bought a rack and hanging buckets to hold chalk, erasers and wipes under the chalkboard. It worked well. However, the buckets were leaving marks on the nicely painted walls. So I came up with the idea to apply some extra felt I had to the bottom of the buckets to protect it from rubbing and marking the walls. These hanging buckets are great for organizing things in the children’s bedroom, bathrooms, kitchen and offices. For the tutorial, see after the jump.

Supplies:

  • scrap felt
  • glue gun

1. Cut a long strap of felt that will fit around the circumference of the bottom of the bucket.

2. Use glue gun to glue the felt to the bottom of the buckets. And done!
