instagram birthday

This one was actually a little late. My birthday was a little over a week ago. I got behind on posting with Nathan gone on a business trip and the girls passing around a stomach bug. Anyway, I had a big birthday this year. I turned 30 this year. Yikes. I was having a hard time with it. I felt like the jump from the 20s to 30s was a big jump. I am still coming to terms with it. But I had a great time with my family on my birthday. Here’s to a great time in my 30s!

Β» Tell me… How well did you take turning 30? Or if you’re not there yet, what are your feelings about turning 30?

I turned 30 last September. I’m still not okay with it ;). I think there is a mourning that goes along with leaving your 20’s. knowing that you are no longer a young adult is a little bit sad. That doesn’t mean that the 30’s won’t be great though!

Happy Birthday!!! Turning 30 made me feel like a ‘real adult’. I was married with two kids, but whatever. lol It’s like I was now my mom’s age and felt grown up. The 30s are wonderful. All of my friends say they felt more comfortable, more confident in their choices/abilities.

Happy late birthday!! Happy 30th birthday. I turn 30 this year. I am sorry you had a hard time with it. Do you feel any different now that you are 30? Worth having a hard time over? πŸ˜‰

I didn’t mind turning 30. Turning 31, however, was a different story. All of a sudden I was ‘in my 30s’ and it felt old. The other day Victoria and I were talking about age and she said, “You were born in 2000 and what year.” Ha, she was a little confused when I first told her. Anyway, I hope it was a fantastic day!

I’ve always heard your 30s are the best years. I’ll be joining you in the dirty 30 on Sunday and I’m holding on to that thought. It has to be true because to date, 28 & 29 have been pretty awesome.
